New Installation of Windows & Doors Instructions
1) Check manufacturer's installation and cleaning instructions

2) On site, glass should be stored in a clean dry area free from cement, lime, paint, acid etc.

3) During installation glass must be protected from building fall-out such as wet plaster, mortar, paint and welding splatter. If this type of contamination occurs clean contaminated matter as soon as possible.

4) When cleaning glass only use clean materials which are free of dirt and debris to avoid scratching and marking of the glass. Use detergents, vinegar based glass cleaning solutions and glass cleaning solutions which are recommended for cleaning glass.

Tips on Storing Glass

Glass should be stored in a clean and dry area with plenty of air circulation, away from very high humidity areas and very wet areas to avoid staining.

The glass should be unpacked into a clean area away from overhead rubbish, free of any wetness or dampness and stacked with separators to allow airflow between the glass.

Glass should be stored from the vertical at 4 degrees.

When removing glass from stacks use clean dry suction cups.
